Thought

Life is made up of BIG and small things, BIG are the ones you need to get over & small are the ones that you need to embrace!

Fighting for their Fundamental Rights!

29th August 2013, Thursday

It was an unusual morning in Mumbai, with lot of bright colors of orange, yellow, blue & red. The roads were unusually empty! Yes, it is “Janamashtami” today and the people dressed in bright colors were the 'Govindas'!

I had covered about 15kms in just 25mins (usual time being 85mins) & was really happy about it! Exploring through my newly updated playlist I was almost lost in the music that I love to listen to. Getting down from the auto at Bandra, I got into a cab for my forward journey. Being the usual me, I wished “Good Morning” to the taxi driver (this brought a HUGE Smile on his face). We exchanged a few words post which I continued listening to music putting my head phones on.

The cab stopped at a signal & a eunuch approached me saying, “Aashirwaad lelo baba” (means take my blessings) I looked into my wallet but found no change, he too realized that and started moving to another vehicle. But I have never let a eunuch go by without giving anything to him. Hence, I shouted out, “Ruko toh 1 minute” (wait for a minute atleast) I dug into my wallet for a Rs.50 and gave it to the eunuch with a smile. This bought the most genuine smile on his face and he showered a lot of blessings on me, a lot more than I ever thought he would!

The taxi driver had seen all this happen and said, “Sir, maine kisiko aaj tak Rs.50 dete hue nahi dekha aise taxi mei. Wo toh ja raha tha, aapne wapas bulake diya?” (I havn’t seen anyone give Rs.50 to a eunuch. He was infact walking away, and you called him back to to give the money to him)

This wasn’t the 1st time I had come across such a question. Many people are surprised that I actually would give money to 10 eunuchs if I meet 10 on them on my way and they eventually end up asking me the reason behind this. To which I explain to them, that God has made these people the way they are, and instead of accepting them for what they are, we always look down upon them. Imagine that they were abandoned by their families when they were as little as 4 or 5years of age! Denied education as they were different form the majority of the people around, yelled at, abused, hit mercilessly during all of their childhood! Even if they were to be educated as on today, no company would offer a job to them. Infact, even if there is some company gives them a job, the other employees would retaliate the same. With no other way to earn a living, they do not have an option but to earn money in the way they do! They do not beg, they just ask for the right to live in the society, in a way they want to!

What I say is, that they have equal fundamental rights like you and I do. Then why are they denied to these rights. They are Indian citizens too, just like you and I are! Hence, the next time you see a Eunuch, instead of getting scared of them or running them down by ignoring them, try to think what that these people have gone through in life, just because a few like you and I are unable to accept them as they are!

After a lot of research, I finally found a short film, “E The tale of a Eunuch” this would further entail you on what I’m trying to say here.

Doobara

Dil ne dhadakna ek bar phir seekh liya hai,
Waqt ka chalna jai, ek bar phir se tham gaya hai
Yaadein nayi hum phirse sajaane lage hai,
Log hume Deewana- ek bar phir se kehne lage hai!

Yes, It Is YOU!

Within those eyes, I see a world which is the one not like I am in,
Within those eyes I see love that all I crave for!

The lilies that bloomed when you Held My Hand in approval,
Ever enchanting is the Smile that makes me feel special!

The tear of joy when you rest your Head On My Heart,
The way you Hold Me, seems just like a painters art!

The grin on my face when you say that you Love Me,
That skipped heart beat when you say that you Miss Me!

I know no other, that could Ever Be Like You,
Yes! You are the one, that makes me say- I LOVE YOU!

Yaadein

Teri Yaadein, Mulaquaatein, Wo Raatein, Aur Baatein..
Teri Saasein, Wo Baahei-Ab Mujhko Yaad Aaye..
Tere Bina-Mera Jiya-Sataye Kyu Piya?-
Yaadon Ne Ye Hai Teri, Hai Mujhpe Jaadu Kiya Re...

Teri Saasein, Wo Baahein-Ab Mujhko Yaad Aaye-
Wo Adaao Ki Ghataaein, Mere Dil Ko Chu Jaaye-
Pyari-Pyari, Pyari Ye Duniya Saari-Maine Tujhpe Hai Waari,
Dil Ne-Mere Dil Ne Tujhse, Ye Baazi Haari re...

Mere Khayaalo Mei..Bus Tum,
Meri Nigaaho Mei, Bus Tum-
Wapas Aajaao, Mere Pass Tum Sada- Wapas Aajaao..
Mere Pass Tum Sada..-
Soona Soona Hai Mera Ye Jahan,
Bhoola Mei Hu Kaha, Chaha Tera Mei Rahu Sada...

Piya...Wapas Aajaao, Mere Pass Tum Sada, Wapas Aajaao...
Piya Tera Jeeya...Piya Tera Jeeya...Tu Hai Kaha-
Tera Karu Intezaar, Tu Mere Dil Ka Karaarr-
Maanunga Na Mei Bhi Haar....

Kaha tha maine..

Kaha tha na, Ki yu soote hue matt chhodke jaana,
Mujhe beshaq jaga dena, bata dena-
tumhe rasta badalna hai, meri hudd se nikalna hai..

Tumhe kiss baat ka darr tha? Mei tumhe jaane nahi deta?-
kahi pe kaid kar leta?
Arre pagal, Mohobbat ki tabiyat mei, zabardasti nahi hoti-
jisse rasta badalna ho usse rasta badalne se-
aur jisse hudd se nikalna ho usse hudd se nikalne se-
na koi rok paya hai, na koi rok payega..

Toh tumhe kiss baat ka darr tha?
Mujhe beshaq jaga dete, mei tumko dekh he leta,
Tumhe koi duaa deta, kum se kum, yu to na hota..

Mere saathi ye haqeeqat hai, tumhaare baad-
khone ke liye kuch bhi nahi baaki,
Magar mei khoone se darta hu,
Mei ab, soone se darta hu-
Kaha tha na, yu chhod ke na jaana

Love or hormonal disorder?

A couple of days ago, I met a person who believed that there is no emotion called as LOVE.
He says it happens due to some "Hormonal secretions in human brain"
But then again, all emotions are a result of the same, but he somehow wasn't ready to accept this.

He loved someone, and also did not trust her,
Mistakes made by him during their relationship were to be taken as Minisquel,
And the same mistakes when made by his girl, were a GREAT matter of concern!

Baffled he was about his relationship,
To which I said, "if it is meant to be, it would be"
He again did not buy this, and said "it is in your hand to work it out or do away with it"
(without even realising that he had done all he could to save his dieing relationship, but still
nothing seems to be working out)

Hours of discussion with this friends-friend, left me thinking,
what is it that bonds two people together?

Is it Love (the Hormonal Imbalance)?
Is it Friendship?
Is it Trust?
Is it the need for a shoulder to cry on?

but then i concluded, it is not just all of the above, but also that there is more to it!

Sometimes, when you meet a new person, you feel like you've known that person for Eternity!
Somehow, you trust that person more than the others around you, your more comfortable with this person
in all fronts of life, on the other hand, knowing another person for YEARS together dose not make you feel
all that comfortable with that person, you don't trust him all that much! how do you explain this?

Then I came across a phrase- "You never meet a new person in life, it is always a soul from the past"

Think about deeply, I'm sure you would agree as well.
(pls be hypothetical) :-)

A complete Circle

Sometimes in life, you feel that
'Finally the things are getting sorted out!,
Finally you can breath a sigh of relief,
ALL IS FINALLY WELL!'

That is exactly when you would be pulled down and be made to realise that,

"Life is the GAME and your just the PLAYER"

It makes you realise that 'The world is not made only for YOU! There are others as well'

But, at the end of it, the game of life is not lost when one does not win,
it is lost when one is afraid to loose, and gives up.

So everytime life pushes you down, with an Authority,
Have the courage to look up again and get up,
For a "Race cannot be won looking backwards'
